Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you accept insurance?

We do not accept insurance and are only accepting private clients who can pay for services out of pocket. We are happy to provide documentation for potential reimbursement from third-parties.

  • How much will this cost me?

Our rates reflect specialized training, elite service, and first-rate support for each client. See here for our fees, or click on the fees tab located under “Services”.

  • What areas do you serve?

Dr. Osuna is licensed in Washington state and can provide assessments and therapy in 40 states. He is willing to travel to clients in special circumstances. Additionally, we can provide health case management to clients living anywhere

  • How often do you meet with clients?

Autism and psychological evaluations: Comprehensive evaluations typically take about a month to complete. The first appointment is a virtual interview (2 hours) to provide history regarding development, health, and current functioning. The next meeting is an in-person appointment (3 hours), which includes completing psychology testing and standardized assessments. The final meeting is a virtual appointment (1 hour) where clients receive testing results and recommendations regarding next steps.

Health case management: We meet with clients on an “as-needed” basis but recommend recurring appointments every 3 months to maintain optimal health. Ongoing case management grants clients with access to our team of professionals who provide continued support, expert guidance, and access to resources to improve your overall wellbeing.

Therapy: We provide therapy on a short- and long-term basis, depending on each client’s needs and lifestyle. We typically meet with clients every other week but are flexible to meet weekly or monthly when needed.

  • What should I expect during our first session?

Each service begins with an intake, which is an opportunity for us to gather important information on how to best serve you. The first session tends to be more structured, so that we can establish a solid foundation of knowledge about each other and the relationship we are establishing if engaging in a service. Subsequent sessions tend to be less structured and dependent on each client’s specific need.

  • Are there clients that you don’t see?

We are less likely to take on clients that require a high level of care, including those who are actively suicidal or engaged with intensive treatment programs.
